Kurtis — overview
Cotton and rayon kurtis in straight, A-line, anarkali and long styles with block print, embroidery and digital print. It belongs to our women's & ethnic wear range, part of the garments & apparel division of Hurain Garments Exporter.
India is the natural source for women's ethnic and fusion wear. Jaipur, Surat, Delhi, Kolkata and Ludhiana combine block printing, embroidery, rayon and cotton weaving with fast, flexible sewing units, so designs can move from sketch to container in weeks. We supply kurtis, leggings, tops, dresses, abayas and kaftans to boutiques, diaspora stores, wholesalers and fashion brands.
Women's wear is design-led, so we work in small design runs: a buyer can order twenty styles of 300 pieces rather than two styles of 3,000. Every design is sampled, graded and photographed before it is cut, and size sets are packed to the buyer's market.

About our kurtis
The kurti has moved well beyond South Asian communities. Women in Africa, the Gulf, Europe and North America now buy kurtis as relaxed tunics, and retailers add them for the comfort and print. We work with units in Jaipur, Delhi, Kolkata and Surat that print, embroider and stitch under one roof, which keeps the timeline short.
Design cycles are quick: a design that sells can be repeated within three weeks. We photograph every sample on a model and send size charts and fabric details so your buyers or online listings are ready before the goods arrive.
To control returns, we measure a fit sample of each block, grade it carefully, and check measurements on every carton sample against the spec sheet, with particular attention to length, bust and sleeve.

When buyers order kurtis
Orders for Eid, Diwali, Navratri and wedding seasons are placed 3–4 months early; casual cotton kurtis sell year-round, with summer lines peaking from January.
Minimum order: Typically 300 pieces per design with up to 4 colours; 1,200–1,500 pieces per container order for mixed designs is common. Lead time: 30–45 days including sampling; 20–25 days on repeat designs.
Testing and care labelling
Care: Hand wash or gentle machine wash cold, dry in shade, iron on reverse; embroidered pieces should be washed separately.
- Colour fastness to washing and perspiration
- Print rub and wash tests
- Shrinkage of cotton and rayon after wash
- Embroidery thread strength
Kurtis made in bulk to your colour, size and design
You are not limited to stock designs. We make kurtis in bulk in the colour you choose, in the sizes and size ratio your customers wear, and in the design you supply. A reference garment, a tech pack, a sketch or even a photograph is enough to start.
How it works: send a Pantone code or fabric swatch for colour and we return a lab-dip; send your size chart and the ratio you want in each carton; send artwork, print, embroidery or label files for the design. We make a sample for approval and then produce the bulk to that approved sample, so the order you receive matches the one you signed off.
- Colour: Wide solid and print palettes with 4–6 colourways per design; festive palettes for Eid, Diwali and wedding seasons.
- Size: S–XXL standard, 3XL–5XL plus-size, lengths 36–48 inches; free-size short tunics for boutiques.
- Design and branding: own prints and embroidery designs, matching dupattas and bottoms, custom neck and sleeve patterns and private-label packaging and hang tags.
